We took a break from the wedding train with an awesome fundraiser for St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation where hundreds of people came together to raise over $200,000. Funds raised went to top priorities at the hospital, including helping to support research, purchasing new equipment and critical renovations. The event itself was held at the iconic Corus Quay downtown by the lake inside the atrium where guests (and us!) had such a stunning view of the lake. Throughout the evening, cocktails flowed along with tons of amazing canapes followed by deep-fried cheesecake, fruit and a tangy lemon custard. The legendary Kim Mitchell was there with a small band playing his hits and yes, of course, Go For Soda and Patio Lantern was performed! While we were tucked away in the corner, the near 300 attendees slowly warmed up to us and by 9pm, we had a non-stop line! From couples to friends and colleagues alike, we were thrilled with the participation of all type of people in front of our camera. Many people commented on how flawless their skinned looked — similar to the Kardashian photo booth. What a huge compliment 😀 All in all, we think it was a completely successful event from start to finish.
